:::ゴリンコフ教授は長年にわたり言語発達研究の第一線で活躍され、言語獲得をさまざまなデータに基づき広範に説明可能とする「連立創発モデル」(Emergentist Coalition Model)の提唱者としても著名である。最近は特に動詞の発達の研究も精力的に進めており、成果の一部はKathy Hirsh-Pasekとともに編集した"Action Meets Word:How Children Learn Verbs" (2006,Oxford University Press刊 )に収められている。
